NEXCO’s 2012 Innovative Solutions Award has been created to recognize solutions that are groundbreaking and that provide
quantifiable business value in international trade.
Innovation is partly about adapting to changing environments. NEXCO is looking for solutions that respond to dynamic business
goals or introduce a new approach or idea to a company or an industry. Projects might involve new technologies, adapting
existing technology in a new use or a different way or in combination to create a new value. NEXCO wants to highlight these
stories because they are creating competitive advantage and positively affecting the bottom line.
WHO SHOULD ENTER
The Award is open to any company or individual or collaborative effort between companies and academia, regardless of where
in the world they are based. The judges will be looking for innovative projects that solve business problems or provide solutions for the company entering and/or its customers, demonstrate an innovative approach to business overall. The company may be an importer, exporter or service provider. There are no categories. Some questions to ask yourself are: How innovative is the product or service? How has it impacted the end user? Has it made a difference to the community at large? We have kept the application simple and straightforward and look forward to receiving your entries by September 7, 2012.

Winner will be announced at the NEXCO Annual International Conference on October 4, 2012, hosted by Citi Commercial Banking. The winner will be featured in the Show Program and in a monthly NEXCO eNews. Winner will also be invited to attend a networking event later this year.
